Light & Gather started with a simple question: what would it look like to design a tool that helps people talk - honestly - and feel more connected afterwards?

The outcome is an interactive workbook and facilitator kit that guides small groups through reflection and shared storytelling. It’s built as a complete system: calm typography, clear pacing, handmade pattern textures, illustrated icons, and editable templates that make it easy to capture and share participant-led content.

This wasn’t just a concept - the method was tested in live workshops across two community settings, then refined using feedback from both participants and facilitators. The result is a toolkit that feels approachable to run, affordable to print, and flexible enough to work across different groups - while still feeling crafted and intentional.

Designed to be low-cost to print and easy to run - even without specialist tools.
